The Volkswagen Smart phone Interface connects your smart phone to your Vw. It takes the smart phone contents directly to the MMI display smoothly via USB. Navigation, telephone system, music and selected third-party apps can be conveniently controlled via the MMI controller as well as the voice control system. The smart phone manufacturer is responsible for all the contents and functions displayed by the Vw smart phone interface. This upgrade is available from very basic Composition Media to the full Discover Pro package. We can also offer this as an upgrade for models already fitted with Discover Pro MIB I  (up to 25.05.2015) which doesn’t require a new 8″ touch screen or fascia trim.
