Two Zones with 6 Amplified channels of power Add amazing sound to your boat with the Kicker KMC6 marine digital media receiver. The KMC6 provides six channels of power across two zones making this one of the most versatile Marine receivers available. There is a full-colour 9cm display providing control over the two zones of audio. The receiver has video capability that you can connect to an onboard camera for assistance when mooring, engine bay safety or ski/wakeboard safety. The big and clearly marked buttons are easy to see and easy to operate even when wearing gloves. Digital Radio The all-new KMC6 now features built-in Digital Radio (DAB), allowing you to enjoy an even wider selection of your favorite radio stations. It’s the first Kicker marine radio to offer DAB technology! Plus, it enhances your listening experience by displaying radio station and track artwork directly on the screen, as shown in photo 5. For a DAB antenna, we recommend using the AN2000M dipole AM/FM antenna in combination with the AN3023DAB splitter. The splitter enables the AN2000M to receive both digital radio and AM/FM signals, so only one antenna installation is required. Please note: If you’re using the splitter with a different AM/FM antenna, make sure the antenna is non-amplified. Camera Input The KMC6 features a versatile camera/video input designed for a variety of purposes. It’s commonly used for docking, water sports and engine rooms. See image 6 (camera not included) Music Sources You can stream music from your smartphone, plug a music player into the rear aux input, or a thumb drive into the rear USB port. You can tune into your favorite local radio stations using the AM/FM tuner and if you are planning to add an amplifier to the system then you will appreciate the eight rear-mounted preamp outputs and a customizable EQ with 5 presets. NMEA The Kicker KMC6 is NMEA 2000 certified product and is compatible with a range of the world’s leading Multi-Function Displays for on-screen audio control. When pairing the KMC5 with a supported MFD (chart plotter) or fish finder, you bring your music to the big screen, allowing you to keep an eye on the charts or the fish while skipping tracks or adjusting the volume at the same time. This marine digital media receiver will not play CDs.
