If you have questions about available quantities, please contact me before placing your order. Germination Information: I recommend these seeds for experienced seed-sowers only, because they may require patience while waiting for germination and then while waiting for them to reach flowering size. There isn’t a great deal of information about germinating Japanese jacinth, but I have had good results by sowing 1/4 inch deep in fall to mid winter and setting the pot outside, in a spot protected from mice, to germinate when conditions are right in spring. (Seeds I sowed with the winter-sowing method on February 14 and then set outside started to sprout on April 10.) I have also had luck starting them indoors, in warm conditions under lights. (Seeds I sowed on March 12 started to sprout on April 1.) Plant the whole pot of seedlings into a holding bed and leave them there for a couple of years before moving the bulbs to the garden. Note that this information will not appear on the seed packet you receive. Please read the description as well before ordering.
