Germination Information: I recommend these seeds only for gardeners who have experience with perennial seeds that require a cold-moist period to sprout. One option is to sow about 1/4 inch deep in late fall through mid winter and set the pot outdoors to provide a natural chilling period, with germination when conditions are right in spring—or possibly the spring after that, so don’t discard the pot. (The winter-sowing technique can work well with this species.) If sowing after mid winter, give the pot an artificial chilling period of about a month.
