Reaching anywhere from 5 to 7 feet, it’s right at home in a meadow garden or a naturalistic border paired with tall, late-flowering perennials, such as crownbeards (Verbesina), ironweeds (Vernonia), New England aster (Symphyotrichum novae-angliae), and perennial sunflowers (Helianthus). The species is a United States native; these seeds are from wild plants in my meadow in Bucks County, PA. Full sun. Perennial; Zones 4 to 9. Collected in early October 2025. At least 30 seeds. PA ecotype. Shipping to U.S. addresses only. Please read the germination information as well before ordering.
