Description Round-lobed hepatica (Anemone [Hepatica] americana) is a classic woodland wildflower. It forms low clumps of three-lobed, evergreen leaves accented with purple-blue (or pinkish or white) flowers in early to mid-spring. The new leaves may be tinged with purple. Height in leaf and bloom is about 6 inches. Reportedly hardy in Zones 3 to 8, round-lobed hepatica is native to much of eastern North America. These seeds are from plants I grew from seed from plants growing here in Milford Township, Bucks County, PA. 2025-collected seeds are sold out. I hope to collect again in mid-May 2026. At least 12 seeds per packet. PA ecotype. Very limited quantity. Shipping to U.S. addresses only. Please read the germination information as well before ordering.
