Description There is absolutely nothing subtle about this outstanding annual. ‘Dragon’s Breath’ plumed celosia has reddish green to deep red foliage through the entire growing season, which would be reason enough to grow it anywhere you need a blast of color. Add in the dense, bright red plumes that top the 18- to 24-inch-tall plants and you have a winner for beds, borders, and containers, and fresh arrangements too. With an early start indoors, the plants may start blooming in early summer; those started in late spring to early summer may not flower until late summer or early fall. Note that the foliage and flower colors tend to be richest in cooler temperatures. Full sun. Annual. Collected in October 2025. At least 15 seeds. Shipping to U.S. addresses only.
