Germination Information: I have had luck germinating these seeds (surface-sown, or lightly covered) different ways. I sowed in two pots on March 24: the one I set outside began sprouting on April 12, and the one set indoors, under lights, began on March 31, with scattered seedlings appearing over the following few weeks. Germination was more complete in the outdoor pot, seeming to indicate that cool temperatures are beneficial. Since the plants self-sow, it’s likely that the winter-sowing method would also work well with these seeds. Note that this information will not appear on the seed packet you receive.
