Description Slender, toothed, bronze/brown foliage. Bushy semi-evergreen perennial that can reach 3 to 4 feet tall in warm climates. It’s not fully hardy for me in Zones 6/7, so I mostly grow it as a 12- to 18-inch-tall annual: excellent as a foliage accent near the front of a border and fabulous in containers! Flowers are not noticeable but develop into reddish brown seeds. Can self-sow. I’ve seen this sold as ‘Wellington Bronze’ and grew plants by that name in the past, and these look identical, so I don’t know if there’s really any difference. Full sun (for richest foliage color) to light shade; average, well-drained soil. I’d say Zones 7 to 10 for hardiness but can be grown as an annual anywhere. Detailed description to come. Collected in September 2025. At least 15 seeds. Unknown ecotype. Shipping to U.S. addresses only. Please read the germination information as well before ordering.
