Germination Information: One option is to sow the seeds in a warm, bright spot indoors in late winter to mid spring, about 1/4 inch deep. Seeds I sowed that way on March 5 began sprouting on March 15, with more appearing over the next several weeks; your experience may vary. Another option is to sow in a pot, or with the winter-sowing approach, from late fall to early spring and set it outdoors, in a spot protected from mice, to germinate when conditions are right in spring. Seeds I winter-sowed in a milk jug on January 1 began germinating on March 17; again, your experience may be different. Note that this information will not appear on the seed packet you receive.
